Women in Science Breakfast

Women in Science Breakfast will be held on July 7 in Clarion Congress Hotel. This special gatherings feature a timely discussion of issues facing women in the biomechanics and engineering professions. The breakfast offers attendees a great opportunity to network with eminent women in biomechanics and biomedical engineering from around the world in comfortable and unformal atmoshpere.


Student's night in town

In line with the ESB tradition, we invite all students to join this very popular part of the social programme on July 6. It is the ideal spot to socialise with fellow students of biomechanics and exchange experiences and ideas over a cold beer. Food and drinks will be provided, dancing mood is highly appreciated.

About The Municipal House

The Municipal House is one of the most remarkable constructions of Prague Art Nouveau. The building was officially opened on 22 November 1912. In the basement of the Municipal house is situated a beautiful Art Nouveau Plzeňská restaurant. You will enjoy the genuine Czech tradition menu (vegetarian option on request), with a selection of traditional Czech specialities and excellent Pilsner beer or Moravian wines.
